Free 3-day fiction writing mini workshop

Holly Lisle’s How To Think Sideways: Career Survival School for Writers, Class of 2017 opens Tuesday, June 14 at 10 AM. (Eastern Standard Time)

Registration is only open for one week, and this is the only time the course will be available this year.

Now, I know it’s not easy to decide if you want to make that commitment, so to give you a taste of what’s involved a free, no-obligation 3-day workshop to introduce some of the processes and concepts that Holly teaches is launching now.

I should say at this point that although I am an affiliate of Holly Lisle, the affiliate program isn’t currently running, so I don’t get anything out of this.

I’ve taken this course (I’ve taken others too, and haven’t been disappointed in any of them). It’s worth every penny. It took me about a year to complete, although as you work at your own pace it may take you less or more time.

The beauty of registration only being available once a year is that you start it at the same time as everyone else, giving you a whole load of classmates and companions to compare notes, commiserate and celebrate as you go.

You get out what you put in. It’s down to you to put the work in, but what I got from it was a completed, structured first draft of a novel that I would never have written otherwise.

The forum is awesome; full of supportive, like-minded writers at all levels of the writing journey. The moderators ensure that your questions get answered and you can often bump into Holly there too.

At the very least, you get a free 3 day workshop out of this and you can always choose to take the course next year.
